MACHINE SHOP & IRON WORKS
From a young age I was intrigued by the mystique of smelting and forging metals. At 14 I began my journey into the world of metal working, I started with a charcoal forge and anvil smelting and forging iron. The process of turning raw materials into usable metal and then forging my will upon the metal awoke a fire in me. I needed more, more knowledge, more skills, more tools; nothing could stop me from working towards my dreams of owning my own metal working business. As time went on I was able to slowly gain the tools and skills I needed. Forging lead to the need to make tools, I acquired an old buzz box stick welder and set out to learn the art of welding. Stick welding lead to mig welding then to tig welding and to duel shield welding for heavy equipment repair. As the fabrication work expanded I was fortunate to find a good deal on small lathe to expand my services, it didn’t take long to know that machining was the natural progression of my abilitys. Nights spent reading technical books and days filled with trial and error filled my life. Enough was never enough, the equipment kept growing bigger and the tolerances kept growing smaller. Eventually made the jump into CNC machining landing me right where I stand today. In a perfect position to provide quality work for my customers as my shop continues to grow.
